Forest Service invites all interested citizens to three upcoming events.
The Recreation managers of the Chattahoochee-Oconee national Forest invite all interested citizens to three upcoming meetings; times and locations below. The Forest Service is conducting a process with the public to develop a strategy to better manage the over 800 miles of trails in the Chattahoochee and Oconee National Forests. The main goal of this effort is to provide a diverse, quality trail system that is maintainable and ecologically. This first series of meetings hopes to engage the public to gain better understanding of users expectations, concerns and desires for a better recreation experience and trails system. Attend any or all of these meetings for sharing and learning about your trails system on public forest land in Georgia.
