Wild & Woolly Native Plant Sale & Wine Tasting

ForestWatchers far and wide and members of the public who love native plants and award-winning wine should attend our 2007 Wild and Woolly Native Plant Sale and Wine Tasting. This event serves as one of the main benefits for Georgia ForestWatch each year – and with only a $20 admission fee, itÕs deemed an Òaffordable fundraiser.Ó It also has turned into one of the premier events of the spring social calendar in north Georgia, and all for a good cause.

Great food, fine Tiger Mountain wines, and an expanded selection of quality native plants including: Paw paw, Ironwood, Ninebark, Winterberry holly, Elderberry, Beautyberry, Aster, Wild indigo, Scarlet Beebalm, Bleeding heart, Stokesia, Leucothoe, Sweetshrub, Coneflower, Spiderwort, Native ferns and much much more!

Meet special guests Patricia Kyritsi Howell, author of "Medicinal Plants of the Southern Appalachians" and Peter H. Loewer, author of "The Wild Gardener."

RSVP appreciated by May 11, to Georgia ForestWatch, 15 Tower Road, Ellijay GA 30540. Send your check ($20 per person) and names of those attending. For further information, call (706) 635-8733 or contact info@gafw.org
